Video Conferencing

How does it work?

 Video conferencing works by having a television mounted camera at each location and using the current telecommunications phone system to transmit voice, images and data between remote sites.

Is it private?

Video conferencing sessions are held in the Telecentre's Video conferencing room to ensure privacy.

What can Video Conferencing be used for?

The many uses for Video Conferencing include;

· Meetings

· Consultations with lawyers, accountants, doctors, work colleagues

· Network with other sites/head office

· Workplace training

· Access to tertiary educational training programs

· Job Interviews

How much does it cost?

Video Conferencing at Dowerin Telecentre will cost $88 (GST Inc) per hour (plus call costs if applicable). This includes the connection charges, booking fee, setting up fee, technical assistance for the first 15 minutes and room hire.
